Her owner has recently decided that he is now too old to sail this superbly maintained classic Westerly, built to Lloyds scantlings at a standard of excellence unavailable in the small ocean-going production yachts of today. Her full width coachroof makes for safe deckwork. Four berths in 2 cabins. Solé 8 hp diesel.


Sails: Mainsail and two jibs with roller reefing. All in very good condition.

Rig: Aluminium mast and boom with stainless steel standing rigging, pulpit, pushpit and guard rails.

Engine: Solé Diesel 5.97 kW [8hp] single cylinder four stroke diesel, indirectly fresh water cooled with rev counter. Serviced December 2007. Two 12 volt 85 Ah batteries. Cruises at 4 knots under sail or power.

Hull: Original white grp hull, never painted or epoxy treated. Decks painted with non-slip blue paint.

Deck gear: Tiller steering, bower anchor and chain, kedge anchor with chain and warp, spinnaker pole, sheet winches, halyard winches, cockpit cover, sprayhood, dodgers, boom tent, cockpit cushions, mooring warps and fenders. Navigation and anchor lights. Rope boarding ladder.

Safety gear: Lifejackets, lifebuoys, safety harnesses, distress flares, fire extinguishers, gas detector, bilge pumps.

Navigation equipment: Compass, depth sounder, VHF radio with aerial, gps satellite navigation.

 Accommodation: Saloon upholstered in brown cloth with curtains and carpets. Four berths in 2 cabins with gas cabin heater. Gas cooker and grill, pots, pans, cutlery, basin manually supplied from fixed 45 litre water tank, sea lavatory.
