1975 classic all-weather performer, 4 berths, 6hp Volvo Penta outboard, 3 foresails and 2008 mainsail. Lancashire.

Hull: Lloyds certificated grp hull and deck moulding with good seakeeping qualities and self-draining cockpit. Forehatch, sliding companion hatch with washboards, large stern locker.

Sails: Mainsail new in 2008, No 1 Genoa with jib furling gear, working jib and spitfire jib. All in good condition.

Rig: Alloy mast and boom with stainless steel rigging. All running rigging new in 2007.

Alastair Buchan, author of Short-handed Sailing, crossed the Atlantic twice in the Hurley 20 MINTAKA.

He circumnavigated Britain single-handed. After taking the Hurley 20 through a Force 8, he said she was "a wolf in sheep's clothing".

"All the little Hurleys have stood the test of time and built up a well deserved reputation as fast, seaworthy yachts. Their virtues far outweigh their faults".
