An immaculate motor yacht, extensively refurbished, professionally retro-fitted with twin Ford Turbo diesel engines. Six berths in three cabins. Outdrives just overehauled and new covers just fitted. Her owner died in May 2010.

Built Corby, England, 1989. Her hull was heavily re-inforced from the original US-design by Jim Wynne for Cruisers in USA.
Hull: Self-stowing Bruce anchor in roller on the distinctive Cruisers forward platform, with chain leading aft to self-draining locker under flush-fitting cover. Stainless steel Seascrew clamped handrails make deck movements safer in a seaway. Aft bathing platform reached by gate and ladder. Newly upholstered seating is fitted in the cockpit.
Engines: Two four-cylinder Ford Turbo diesels, each producing 140 horsepower at 4000 r.p.m., driving twin Volvo 290 outdrive legs with duoprops, deliver 20 knots cruising and 28 knots maximum planing speed. These engines were supplied by Lancing Marine and installed by Aruncraft Ltd., Littlehampton, West Sussex, at a cost of GBP 15,000.00 in 1998. Three 110 Ah heavy duty batteries with Sterling battery charger. The engines were serviced annually and the outdrives were overhauled in May 2010. Trim tabs. Engine room fire extinguishers. Navigation equipment: Autohelm Sports Pilot Plus, Raymarine compass, Ritchie compass, Incastec Max Plus depth sounder, Target log, Volvo log, XM DSC VHF radio.
Deck gear: Two anchors with chain and warp, mooring warps and fenders. New cockpit covers. 1995 Kudos inflatable dinghy with 3 h.p. Johnson outboard motor.
Accommodation: Good quality teak joinery and veneer panelling in an unusual and ingenious cabin layout, offering six berths in three cabins. Headlinings and upholstery were professionally replaced in recent years. Double-banked side ports and a front-facing windows make her well-lit by day. The L-shaped galley includes a sink, an immaculate three-burner gas hob and cooker and an Engel 12 volt refrigerator. Hot running water is supplied from a calorifier fitted in the engine room. A bar unit faces the well-furnished dinette area. The yacht is fitted with 240V and 12V electrical power. There is a Pioneer radio fitted in the saloon. The heads, forward of the galley are fitted with a shower, a good-sized handbasin and a Brydon sea lavatory. There is a double curtained sleeping area aft and a curtained forward twin vee-berth sleeping cabin.

ALEXANDRINA was owned for years by the late Mr John Farrell, a very careful and generous owner who re-purchased her in 2009 but died unexpectedly in May 2010. She is in very good condition, lying ashore at Fiddlers Ferry Yacht Haven near Warrington GB. She has been Part 3 British-registered and is "V.A.T. paid".
